Aversive / Unknowable Sound

Since 2012 Aversive has produced a kaleidoscope of sounds with the enthusiasm and grit of a true visionary. From Neurohop to Drum & Bass, to Triphop to Breaks, Aversive has stopped at nothing to avert the masses from the humdrum of ordinary soundscapes, paving her own path of sonic ingenuity. Having a deep and undying passion for music and sound, Aversive has put out signed releases with ground braking labels such as MalLabel Music (USA), Black Tuna Recordings (CAN), The Outtallectual Collective (UK), Visionary Shamanic Records (UK), The Glitch Shop (UK), and now releases music on her own label Unknowable Sound Recordings. Aversive has collaborated with talented Canadian rappers and vocalists including Infoe, Bvitae, MC Alox, and Miss Fudge. She has DJ'd at electronic music festivals in Western Canada and Costa Rica, as well as worked for the bass heavy Canadian sound system company PK Sound. Expect some new deep Triphop and Drum & Bass cuts coming from Aversive in 2020!

Since 2019, Unknowable Sound is another side of Avery's exploration of music, sound, and frequency, as she works to create an immersive sonic experience that takes one on a journey. Having had a life long interest in things "unknowable", Unknowable Sound is an attempt to unite these interests with her musical talent. Unknowable Sound hopes to create soundscapes for facilitating a deeply moving musical journey of emotion and sonic story telling.
